Would like to try a food box. Looking at gousto or hello fresh. Which is better?

last time I used a food box was in covid times with Morrisons which were brilliant but they stopped ages ago.

any other recommendations?

How many are you feeding OP?

I’m also tempted to try something like this, but not sure how economical it is for just one person

At most 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Mainly 3 of us whilst eldest at university.

I thought it’d be useful for me. My daughter is with me half the week and I’m good at making the effort to cook when she’s here. When it’s just me though, I really struggle to be bothered. A big factor of that, is buying for just one person is really difficult (for me!). There’s only so much I can halve and freeze, and it seems a waste buying things like meat, and veg that’s just too much for me to eat.

Anyway, don’t want to derail your thread! Just also keen to hear people’s recommendations

I felt that Hello fresh had more generous portions than gousto. With teenagers you might need to supplement with extra potatoes/pasta if they’re big eaters.

I hated Gousto. So much packaging and meagre portions for me and two permanently hungry teens. I prefer Simply Cook for ideas, you get the favour pastes / seasoning but get the actual food yourself.
