Has anyone been in a similar situation with Vodafone?
Someone somehow accessed my account and added a different email address. I received a text saying my account had been updated, followed by another text showing the new email. I called Vodafone straight away and it’s now with their fraud team for investigation.
The only thing they could tell me was that normally a security code is needed to access the account, but in this case the person was able to get in without that code.
I don’t log in anywhere else apart from on my iPhone and haven’t shared my details. It’s been about two hours and I’m currently locked out of my Vodafone account. I have a pay as you go number, a monthly SIM and broadband all on the same account.
Just wondering how long this usually takes to resolve and if anyone else has experienced this?
