Computer Buying Help, Please!

Hi everyone,

I've been asked to buy a Microsoft Surface Pro 9, with keyboard and 'writing-on stylus pen'. I need to find a bargain as funds are limited (story of my life!)

I have a Blue Light card and would very gladly buy refurbished.

I've been searching online, but am completely baffled by what's what. Some seem to have a stylus whereas others don't, I'm not sure what Snapdragon is, some are very expensive and I'm not sure why etc, etc.

Please could someone advise me as to where I should go online to look for this? I'm really ignorant when it comes to tech and have bought completely the wrong thing in the past because I misunderstood what the salesperson told me.

Thank you!

P.S. I'm in the UK.

Snapdragon is the type of processor.

The Surface range are 2-in-1s - they have a detachable keyboard and can operate as a powerful tablet. Some are sold with the keyboard and stylus, some without.

Here’s a refurb in ‘excellent’ condition on Backmarket: https://www.backmarket.co.uk/en-gb/p/microsoft-surface-pro-9-13-inch-core-i5-1245u-ssd-256-gb-8gb-without-keyboard/05c662e2-c430-4d10-bcdf-5b648d343151?l=10#scroll=false. It doesn’t mention a stylus which means it’s not sold with it - you can buy them separately.

Just take a look on some good refurbished retailer sites and find one at a price/condition you are happy with. Compare buying with the stylus to getting it separately.
