I try not to buy loads of stuff and be a mindful consumer so looking for things which you have bought and think really are the best things since sliced bread, or really are worth the money and not a flash in the pan. I'll start - two purchases of 2025 which have been brilliant.

Wool duvet - absolute revelation. So much nicer and cosier than the previous one which was polyester/plastic. Not particularly cheap at around £100 but SO worth it. Wish we'd bought one years ago.

Ring light which clips onto the top of your laptop screen, only about £15 but I look so much better on Zoom calls and don't have to contend with ceiling lights reflecting on the screen.

Soup maker- I know on here they are not always liked.
I have soup most days from September to March and dd has it several times as well. I am also disabled and was struggling with the handblender. This has made my life so much easier. It was £40 (family size one) and worth every penny. The alternative would have probably been tinned or fresh soup so I'm sure I'll see a return by the end of one winter and its much healthier.

I'm worried it would go the way of a bread maker though...
