How would you spend £150 in John Lewis or Waitrose?

I have been given a voucher and am having a mind block. I’d love a new warm coat, shark hair thing or some nice clothes for the kids but it all seems not very exciting. If you had £150 to spend, what would you go for?

Personal shopper in John Lewis, to recommend some new wardrobe items

A lovely bit of le creuset or smoked salmon for breakfast for a month.

Realistically, I'd just use it for my normal food shop

I’d be boring and use it for a decent food shop. If I was going to splurge then a combo of nice pjs, underwear and bedding.

Not on the kids if it’s a voucher for you. I would be excited by a coat or shark hair thing because I like those kind of things and using them would give me an excited “swooshy” feeling.

I'd go for the coat if you need one. JL has a good range of brands as well as their own brand. Don't waste someone's money when they've given it to you to buy something personal with, not your food shop.

The was a thread recently "first time going to Waitrose" with some excellent ideas. Coffee ice cream was mentioned a lot

I also have one; I’m going to buy a soda stream

If it was a gift for you, get a treat! (Unless your kids are in threadbare clothes that you can’t afford to replace).

I would spend it on perfume, skin care or some clothes.
