Two people I follow on instagram are plugging their substack subscription.
im wondering if anyone pays for for it already and do they think it is worth it?

Never even heard of it!

Yes and I also have a channel
Better than socials.

The only subscription I have on Substack is for David Aaronovitch and his Notes from the Underground - ex Guardian and Times journalist.

He writes in-depth articles mainly on politics - impeccably researched and written.

edited for typos

I don't follow anyone on Instagram but subscribe to quite a few substacks - I mostly just do the free subscriptions but pay for a couple to support the work that the writers do (women's rights).

Whether it’s worth it is going to massively vary from creator to creator. I do subscribe to some

Jo Thompson on gardening.

Most Substack accounts offer some free content so you can see what you’re getting before you pay anything.

I do for recipes, it’s honestly so good and I really enjoy reading them and trying them. Happy to pay a few £s a month to access great content like that.

It does. I subscribe to a couple of food writers as I really enjoy their content. I’ve just cancelled my subscription to Ottolenghi though. I used to love his Guardian column but his Substack seems to be just recycled material.
