Any Mancunians about?

We're going to see Shaun the Sheep at the Aviva studios with a couple of 5 year olds. The weather should be nice so can anyone recommend a good playground or somewhere else that they can run around and let off some steam before or after the show?

There is the area outside the Aviva which is quite large but no play areas round there. There is the old railway bridge at Castle field that's now a walk. Open Wed - Sun 10 - 5 Castlefield Viaduct

The MOSI is nearby and has a great bit upstairs for kids

If you are getting the train there is a park next to Piccadilly StatIon. Mayfield Park it’s called. Other than that the Viaduct is a nice walk as another poster suggested.
