Do EE credit check an upgrade?

So i have been a EE customer on pay monthly for about 18 years now.
Never missed a payment etc
Last year my credit took a hit as I missed a few payments.
Today I’ve upgraded my phone online and got the confirmation and just received a DPD text saying they are expecting my EE parcel but nothing despatched yet .
Will they do a credit check before despatching ?
or do you think the DPD text means it should of been accepted ?

I’d think if you’ve received a dispatch message that it’s been accepted. Can you check your online account to see if it says anything your contract on there?

No they don't, it's just if you take out new products or items

My most recent EE upgrade appeared on my credit report because the phone and cellular contract are now billed separately by them so I believe it was in relation to the handset.

That said if DPD have said they’re expecting your parcel I’d assume the order has already been accepted. It’s unlikely they’d pass info onto a courier for an order that hadn’t yet been accepted.
