Took chicken out the freezer Saturday night

It’s been in the fridge since. Forgot about it yesterday so I’m wondering if it’s still okay to eat for tonight’s tea? It says eat within 24 hours after defrosting…

Yes, it's only Monday, there's a good chance it might still be partly frozen if it's a whole chicken.

I have a chicken in the oven right now, having been out of the freezer and in the fridge since Saturday afternoon.
