EXPLAIN TO ME PLEASE

I'm trying desperately to understand the relationship codes: DP; DD.DDS,DDP DS1 DS2 DH ETC ETC. I have managed MiL ! Mother in Law so presumably FiL must be Father in Law, but as to the rest ???????????

That list pretty much covers it. Some people as well might put DD1 and DD2 to say they have 2 daughters to distinguish them. Others might say DD8 and DD10 to mention their age.

Dsis is sister, DB brother, DM mother, DF father. It's easy once you get hang of it and you can figure it out. STBXH made me laugh recently as it's so specific - soon to be ex husband
