Most loved “big” gifts for 7/8 year olds?

My DD is turning 8 in a month. She loved her Christmas presents but now I have to think of something else for her birthday! What did you give your 7/8 year old for Christmas that they loved please? Really need some ideas!

One of those mini cameras that print was a big hit here!

We loved the printing camera here too. Other hits were a microscope with a screen (like the camera) and a calligraphy set x

A new bike, she needed one and is thrilled with it.

UNO Extreme - we’ve played it loads in 2 and a half days.

Harry Potter Guess Who - but only good if your DD likes HP

I’ll be getting roller skates (or blades) + Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch.

Also one of those pets alive hamsters in a ball!

A camera was the biggest hit

My 8 year old is obsessed with her Stanley cup and her bitzee

A fitness/smart watch (ds 8). He hasn't stopped playing with it, checking his steps, analysing his sleep etc.

Dd 8 loved her rollerskates at 7, Christmas she loved her Lego F1 truck & arsenal kit. She still uses her rollerskates a year later.

Not expensive “big” gifts but DD7.5 loved gui gui slime, dr squish ball making thing and a magic trick set. She also loved her bitzee she had last year but the quickly lost its novelty as she completed it in a few days.

Thank you so much for the suggestions so far. DD got an Instax camera for Christmas from my BiL AND my DB! She loved the camera so much she wanted to keep both and we had to work hard to explain that was pointless and one will be returned.

She has roller skates and hasn’t yet outgrown her bike (last year’s bday present.)

So am still hunting for ideas…

My 7yo's favourite Christmas presents were a lego friends Space Academy set and tickets to see The Play that Goes Wrong as she's obsessed with Peter Pan Goes Wrong (on iplayer).
