Best cheap Gatwick Hotel night before flight?

DS needs cheap hotel near Gatwick Airport. Just for 1 night due to early flight next day. No car so parking not required.

Any recommendations?

The Premier Inn is more convenient for the North Terminal and usually cheaper. Plus no paddling required if you want a wee in the night, no extra charge for a room with a window(!), there’s a restaurant and bar on site, and kettle and coffee in your room. Plus often cheaper.

This was what I would have said. They are really good and efficient and it's ideally located.
