Who’s good for delivering brilliant, yet not too spendy bouquets? For next week (UK).

Usually I try to find a florist local to the sender, but the ones I’ve found are either not open next week, or v expensive.

Also, I need to be able to request no lilies, because cats.

TIA 💐

I’ve had two lots of flowers from Bloom & Wild this year and have been pleased with both. They don’t look much when they’re delivered, but they perk up if you follow the instructions they come with. Both have lasted for a couple of weeks.

I also sent some a couple of weeks ago and they weren’t expensive.

I have sent ( and received ) the M&S roses bouquets - pastel colours and bright colours and everyone has said how good they looked and how well they lasted. Also delivered exactly on time

Freddie’s Flowers let you request no lilies, and I’m pretty sure you can do one off bunches. I’ve always been very happy with bloom and wild, including with their customer service when I had a disappointing bunch - new bunch sent for free.

Thank you! My lovely auntie’s birthday next week, and none of her Xmas cards or gifts arrived. Hoping a nice, hand delivered bunch of flower will help her feel better.

Second Bloom and Wild - goof experience as sender and receiver - they always turn out really nice and last well

WhatMe123 · 26/12/2025 21:04

Bloom and wild never late!! Good quality flowers too

I lady I work for has a delivery of Freddie's Flowers every month, she always gets me to arrange them.

Not sure how pricey they are as her son sends them but they always look lovely.

I have some scented narcissi from Scilly Flowers at the moment and they are fabulous. Great, personal customer service too.

I agree. A friend sent me some Bloom & Wild flowers. They looked a bit tired and disappointing when I first got them but they really perked up and were still looking amazing two weeks later. I finally threw them out after about three weeks, and am still using some of the greenery and berries a month later.

Bloom & Wild are fab!

ProudFriend · 26/12/2025 23:41

Bloom and Wild and Cornish Flowers get my vote

Ijwwm · 27/12/2025 04:51

Another vote for Bloom & Wild - the flowers are “sleeping” when they arrive and then they open up. Everyone I’ve sent them to love them.

NansCheeseFlan · 27/12/2025 05:36

Bloom and Wild! Make sure you let the recipient know they arrive in bud to get better over time. My SIL has a flower subscription, I have sent and received their flowers and always lovely.

M&S have never not been punctual

I've had several bad experiences with them, including them giving up on delivering to my M-i-L because she lived in a village they 'couldn't find' (not that hard - only one road in or out of it and she lived on it!) And I've had to complain about receiving half-dead flowers from them, and have been told afterwards that flowers I sent via them were quite disappointing or died too soon.

From now on, I'd go for Bloom and Wild.
