Kids and calling the emergency services

Just a reminder after a little medical episode to make sure your kids when old enough know how to grab your phone and call the emergency services, and that they know their address. Hopefully it will never be needed but just in case.

It's always a good idea (if your children can read) to have your address written near the phone or somewhere the children can access. Even if they can only recognise their numbers and not quite words yet, having the house number is a huge help to emergency operators using phone triangulation.

Landline is always preferable too; much easier for location than mobile. When I was diagnosed with epilepsy the first thing we bought was a landline so DD could call 999 and they could find us easily if needed.

Hope you're recovered from the medical episode now OP ❤️
