Paw Patrol Lookout Tower

Hi has anyone got their kids this for Xmas? Our lift is really stiff to the point where I feel like DS is going to break it. Unsure if it’s faulty or if it’s normal?

This is the one I mean, exclusive to Smyths.

Faulty I would say. I got one off market place. Very easy to use. Now in the toddler group I run and they all do it fine.

Google results says it can be reset. I didn’t build mine so not sure if this works

Troubleshooting Steps

  • Perform a Reset: The manufacturer, Spin Master, suggests a specific reset procedure for the My Size Lookout Tower.
  1. Hold the elevator platform all the way down at the base with one hand.
  2. With your other hand, pull the red lever all the way up to the top of the tower.
  3. Release the platform. The lift mechanism should now be realigned and move smoothly.
  • Check for Obstructions: Inspect the elevator shaft and the moving parts for any small objects, debris, or toy pieces that might be jamming the mechanism.
  • Verify Assembly: If the tower was recently assembled, check that all parts are correctly snapped into place according to the instructions. The elevator pole needs to be properly attached to both the base and the roof of the tower.
  • Ensure Correct Operation: The elevator is manually operated by pressing down on the red tab (which raises the platform) or using the side lever, depending on the specific model. Ensure the mechanism is being used as intended.

We got this same one and ours is fine so I'd say yours could be faulty

Thank you! DH is going to take it back tomorrow and hopefully swap it. We did try the reset instructions for the lift but it didn’t make any difference.
