Inspired by DC11 said the best thing were the honey roasted parsnips.

My roast potatoes were absolute perfection yesterday.
They were so delicious I wish I had a bowl full now, lightly salted, that I could just sit and eat.

The whole Christmas dinner that DH cooked.

Couldn't fault a single thing!

We reared and butchered our own pigs for the first time this year. Best pork ever, I brined it and made gammon. Amazing.

We opted against starter so I had prawn cocktail in bed after the kids were asleep while playing on my new (to me) nintendo DS.
