Best robot vacuum for upstairs and downstairs

I’m on the hunt for a robot vacuum but I note a lot of people say it only does one floor? Has anyone got one that does both, how does it work and are they worth the price? I’ve seen some also mop?

I used mine upstairs in the morning and downstairs in the evening. I had a mop one, it was rubbish.

We have the Eufy that also mops. It’s fantastic, but it needs to return to its base to wash its mops and refill / empty water and dust. So we have one for each floor! Even if it just hoovers, you’d have to physically move it upstairs, obviously. But my god I love my little robots.

We have the roborock QV 35.

It can figure out whether it is upstairs or down, then cleans accordingly.

i would recommend.

They clean the level you put them on, so if you move them to a different level they can clean it.

They don't yet traverse levels, more the pity as the stairs are the only part of the house I have to vacuum.

Thanks everyone, I bought the Eufy 28 yesterday, just done the house upstairs and down with it, I have to say, I’m impressed! I think I’ll still have to do a weekly deep clean but as a daily help this is perfect!

The Eufy 28 should be a good choice, (I considered it, but I have a spot cleaner already.)

You may not be aware that it supports the smart home platform "Matter 1.4", so can be added to Apple Home. ... for Siri and automations, such as cleaning the kitchen automatically when everyone has left the house. etc. (should also work with other smart home platforms)

I also tried a
Smartbot S20 (leaked),
Dreame Aqua 10, (looks great, works well but doesn't support Matter 1.4)

And ended up with a EcoVac X8, which seems to be the best one so far for me. It also can automatically detect which floor it's on and switch between (a maximum of ) three maps. As it can pre wash the mop, I start it in the dock first and then move just the robot to the required floor.

The EcoVac X8 is not as good at climbing thresholds as the Dreame Aqua 10, but I don't have high thresholds so it's not an issue for me.

Longer term I will probably buy a second one, as it's still a bit of a pain moving it around.
