Anyone else ill today? I’m on day 5

Started as a headache and sinus like. I’ve had pelvic pain, hip pain, fatigue, sore throat that comes and goes but worse at night, a cough, blocked nose and now my voice is gone. Tell me it will get better soon?

Yes! Also suffering with a cough, nausea, vomiting (because coughing so much), headache, dizziness. It’s been building over the last few days and this appears to be the worst day so far! Just about managed the morning, but could barely eat my Christmas dinner and had to sleep at 5pm for a few hours. Very much feeling sorry for myself. I hope you feel better soon!!

Me too. Was manageable earlier today, until 6ish but since then has hit me like a ton of bricks. And I'm supposed to be hosting tomorrow! Hopefully a nights sleep will help.

I hope you feel better soon too. It’s shit isn’t it? I just want it to go away. Sleeping has been difficult too.

I’ve just got over 3 weeks of flu. I thought I was better, albeit a slight lingering cough.

me too. Had flu jab Friday so thought it was a reaction to that at first. Gone through a box of tissues today. Not fun. Hope you all feel better soon

Can't tell you it will get better... I'm on day 11 and I have pneumonia! On an inhaler now though so improving rather than getting worse. I had a week of dreadful sleep when I couldn't lie down without being woken up by coughing or the whistling in my chest. Now sleeping fine but ridiculously tired!

It’s foul, this flu, isn’t it? Day 11 here too, and I now feel like I’m developing neuralgia, on top of blocked sinuses, gross pleghmy cough and wheezy chest.

Thanks all. I think now that it could be Covid as I realised I couldn’t smell my perfume this morning and also the toilet cleaner which is v smelly.

I don't feel quite as bad in the daytime, as long as I keep up the flu pills, codeine (have some left from a surgery), decongestant spray and asthma inhaler so I've managed to get through sociable days over the holiday, albeit at about 50% rather than being my usual self. But by about 6pm I crash and am good for nothing. I've been going up to bed as soon as I can. Xmas Day I was in bed by 6.30pm.

I started Christmas eve with something similar. It isn't Covid, as I've tested. I'm not sure it's bad enough for flu. I slept 15 hours last night and am still tired.

I’m coming up for 3 weeks now and only started improving after I was prescribed antibiotics for a chest infection. I also had the flu jab earlier so don’t know if I would’ve felt worse without it. I have managed to keep on despite feeling awful although it’s almost 2pm and I’m not showered or dressed yet and feel like I could go back to my bed …
