Help me help dd2 with her new Kindle please!!

We cannot work out how to get it to sync her library on her phone app with the Kindle device 🤔. Anyone any idea? Please!

Is the Kindle on the WiFi and signed into her Amazon account? On the app under “more” there’s a button to sync to check too, or one on the drop down menu and kindle itself 😊

I think you go into contents and devices on amazon itself and you can send content to the kindle. Guessing she's logged in with existing details on the kindle?

Is she signed in to her Kindle account on both?

The Kindle's on the wifi & she's signed in on the app on her phone, the Kindle itself, and my laptop.

My dinosaur Kindle just does it 🙈 & "tech support" dd1 is setting up her laptop upstairs.

Has she synced the devices?

I've had a new one today and while my library is showing, only a very few of the books are marked as read - which is incorrect.

I borrowed my ds's a couple of months ago as mine gave up the ghost, and it did the same initially and gradually updated over a couple of hours.

Syncing seemed to make no difference.

I can't find the setting to show the time at the top of the page...

Yep, mine too - I've now got the same info on both my new one and ds2's.
