Butter under the turkey skin - what recipe?

Last year I followed a recipe that involved butter under the turkey skin. The family declared it the best turkey ever. What recipe would I have used? It was on my phone rather than a book and might have been a video. Or can I just make
it up and shove butter in?

Ask AI, give it what you can remember and it will hopefully pull something together for you.

We’ve done a Jamie Oliver recipe that uses butter under the skin - might be online?

Tom kerridge does butter under the skin, but tbh my mum always did if so we did it , I wonder if my mum got it from Delia or someone?

I feel slightly guilty at finding out there's a recipe for this - we just shove garlic butter under the skin and hope for the best.

Gordon Ramsay -
375g soft butter
rind and juice of 2 lemons
3 gloves garlic
handful chopped parsley

I've used this for years and it works well

I feel a bit stupid asking such a simple question now 🤣. I’ll season some butter and shove it under. Not rocket science! But honestly had never heard of this until I saw a recipe on social media last year.

Don't feel stupid if you don't ask you never know.
