Single sheet loo roll

DD has just cracked potty training in the last week or so, and is really keen to be totally independent (in the infuriatingly delightful way that toddlers are). All fine, except she wants to wipe herself and keeps trying to tear off loo roll and gets frustrated that she can’t tear off a single sheet (or any sheets, really. She just hasn’t quite got the coordination). We’ll keep going, but in the meantime I wondered about the sort of dispensers you get in public loos that just give one sheet at a time - can you get anything similar for home (ie not buying in bulk). I suppose really just a tissue box would work, but the only things I can find are flushable wipes (which we all know aren’t really washable).

Would cheap 2 ply tissues work, or would they block the loo? I’m almost certainly overthinking it but DD2 has just started crawling so I’ve already got to have eyes in the back of my head and anything that takes away a toddler battle is useful!

Can you pre tear it and put it in a Tupperware for her?

I wondered about that, but I think she’d take too many pieces at once. Then I thought about folding individual squares so they zigzag out of a box like tissues and realised I had officially lost the plot!

She's not going to be able to do a thorough job anyway, so how about getting into the habit of you holding the roll steady while she pulls her piece off and has one turn, and then you "check"?

Sainsbury's sell boxed toilet tissues. Would this work?

Don't use tissues, they will block the loo.
