Jojo/Next return delivery - Evri didn’t turn up

I scheduled a return delivery to JoJo Maman Bebe on Sunday - it offered Monday with Evri which seemed short notice but I selected it and got a confirmation email. After waiting in all day they didn’t turn up. I’ll call JoJo tomorrow but should I assume they are not coming tomorrow or any other day either? Should I try to rebook another day? (Probably after Xmas now.)

I thought they were owned by Next which seemed pretty slick with deliveries and returns so this is quite disappointing.

I had to call next four times to rearrange an evri collection that never arrived

I tried to return an item to Next 3 times with Evri and they were no shows. Finally emailed Next and ranted about it a bit. The next day an irate driver turned up and collected. I wasn't told he was coming. A bit of a nightmare really.

Whenever Evri deliver to me, their average time to deliver is 11:30pm! I do not like them at all!

My daughter arranged an Evri collection from our house last week. She had an email saying failed attempt to pick up. We have a Ring doorbell and 2 dogs. They hadn’t been.
She thought she’d put her address by mistake and had to ring the seller to sort it. It had been scheduled for ours. They picked it up a couple of days later.
I’m not sure they get paid for collections. My Evri people atm are both very good.
