Long scarf - public loo !

Is it just me that goes to the loo whilst out and every bloody time I go to wee I forget I'm wearing a long scarf and as I bend down it very nearly dips onto the floor ?
Grrrrrr.

I always take my scarf off and hang it up with my bag (where there's a hook to hang it on).

I wear pretty winter weight fleecy neck gaiters mostly now,
No worries about long scarves dipping into the loo or getting caught on or in something or becoming too warm and cumbersome!

I remember this happening in an episode of Dr Who.

Haha scarf is not as long as a Dr Who one !
A factor of it happening is also I'm only 5ft tall .

I never thought that your height to scarf length ratio was that important....but I do now! 🤣

Not just you! Long scarves and public loos are a dangerous combination. I swear they have a mind of their own and aim straight for the floor every time. Instant panic mode activated 😬

My issue is my trousers when i pull them down and the hem or more of the trousers get wet from the mud, pee and worse slush on the floor. I wish toilet hoverers would lift the toilet seat ring up first as well. Some toilets dont have hooks or worse hooks that are sloped so nothing actually stays on and your bag or coat just slip off. I gave up on long scarves because they are so impractical but my teen daughter loves those long scarves.. fashion trends are so circular.

That's one reason I hardly ever wear scarves, they are impractical in so many ways.

I had exactly this at the weekend but luckily just caught it from trailing on the floor in time
No coat hooks either
Hover, grab all trailing clothes including long coat
and hope for the best
