Can anyone help me with suggestions on how I can get rid of my verucca. It's starting to hurt when I walk.

I've tried bazooka, extra strong bazooka, banana skin, filing, plucking. But after many years, it's still there.

Getting desperate, any advice on how to get rid of big, nasty, old veruccas will be much appreciated. __

I’ve had a verruca for 25 years….finally tackling it after I went to a private podiatrist £100 a session. Did nothing

Its a long slog that you gave to stick to but I’ve been using https://www.superdrug.com/health/foot-care/verruca-and-wart-treatment/superdrug-verruca-treatment-salicylic-acid-10-w/w/p/726740

Wrap the area with tape/waterproof plasters as many days as it recommends. Then take a sample or corn remover blade to debride the area and repeat, repeat, repeat. Even when you think it’s gone keep going until your print lines in your skin return….

wear gloves so they don’t spread

it will take months just to warn you

For those of you who enjoy this kind of thing, I found a fantastic show on YouTube called my feet are killing me. There was one where a guy had loads surgically removed. His feet ended up looking like Swiss cheese. It was so satisfying

Get yourself a callous shaver and some salicylic acid.

Soak your foot, then shave off as much as you can. Then treat what is left with the acid and cover it with a plaster.

Repeat this every day until it goes. It may take a few weeks, but it will go.

I got rid of this beauty using this method during lockdown. Nothing else I'd tried had worked on it, but you do need to buy a stronger level of salicylic acid (or put more on) than whatever the standard OTC strength is.

I used a battery foot roller and a bit of digging it out as well. It's never come back so I think it probably has gone for good now.

Dry needling. Its expensive, I used to do the procedure. There was no verruca I couldn't get rid of. Around £200 involves local anaesthetic.

I had my needling done on the NHS at the local foot clinic. They tried various other methods first, and I’d already used duct tape, bazooka, shaving it etc. before I was referred to the clinic.

Oh that’s grim. Did you the one where this woman had a boot on her foot for like - 3 years - and she stank the place out
