Could this be speech delay?

I have a 17 month old who only says "mama" and "dada". I am getting a bit concerned since apparently the average words an 18 month old should say is at least 5-10. She understands everything, makes eye contact and points but she will just not speak. She just point and hums "mm" whenever she wants something. Is this something I should bring up to the health visitor? If she is a bit of a late talker it may be beneficial to get early intervention. However, I am a FTM and have no idea how much other children her age are speaking and what the range is.

All kids are diffeent as you know. I have 4 DC. 1 DC could hold sentences at 17 months was clean and dry by 20 months was sociable you name it she could do it (apart from sleep) but another DC didn't walk till very late, another didn't talk to nearly 2.5 months, late potty training but could bike ride, swim and skate earlier than most. Try not to worry just yet. Xx
