Enjoying Strictly and a glass of wine last night when I noticed my banking app notify me of a payment for £36 from Morrisons. Immediately knew it wasn't mine, so cancelled my card & reported it to my bank. When I then checked my emails, Morrisons had emailed a confirmation of a instant delivery order to an address in London (I'm in Wales) so I couldn't even cancel the order as it had already gone - I assume an Uber type delivery 😒Anyway card now cancelled, password changed etc. I rang Morrisons to advise them this morning, they seemed fairly disinterested but told me they'd raise a case with the fraud team.
Sigh! So not a huge amount of money but just annoying and inconvenient as I have to await a new card. Grr!! It's a big reminder to me not to save cards on any accounts to prevent these things happening.
