Gift vouchers for Australian stores

If you live in Australia (Melbourne specifically) and were to be given gift vouchers which store would be best?

My sister has lived in Aus for 10 years and we always spend a fortune on hampers or sending stuff but I’d rather just give them a couple of hundred dollars on a gift card to use this year.

Young couple, small child, dog, not into designer stuff. Like food and drink. About to move house.

We don't live there but our son does. When we visited earlier in the year we went to Myers department store and a number of the Museums - both do gift vouchers. Or a Beat Restaurant food voucher?

Yes I agree with Myers or David Jones. Both good department stores.

Another vote for Myer or David Jones.

Westfield also do gift cards which can be used in many of the stores in the larger shopping centres.

Taget and Big W are good family stores but the stuff is more everyday value whereas you'd get more quality brands Myer and DJs.

I would go Myer over David Jones. Personally I find David Jones ridiculously expensive, so prefer Myer. Myer always has great sales too.

There's also these ones. They offer sooo much choice. You can get "For Her/Him/Teens/Everyone" etc.

Unless you have an Oz address linked to your debit / credit card you likely won’t be able to purchase

I’d go for a Westfield voucher if you can get one. They can be used anywhere, not just in Westfield stores.
