Good Morning Everyone! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa, in my kitchen spot. The kittens have been fed & wandered off; it's very quiet so probably back to bed. Both girls are still sock on so for now I'll enjoy the peace.

We're having a slow, moochy, kind of day. There are lots of bits to do, interspersed with lots of breaks.

I have towels in to wash atm, & dd2 wanted to strip her bedding. I'll ice the three small Christmas cakes I put marzipan on yesterday, make a voucher for something dd2 has asked for, nip a return parcel to the Inpost locker and really must get this single peg doll done (I do have a backup plan if not!).

The girls need to wrap, and tidy their bedrooms...dd2's looks less like an explosion in a fabric factory after yesterday's effort so hopefully today she's going to sort all the paper!

I have no idea what's for tea, I forgot to defrost anything yesterday, so possibly bangers & mash again since they defrost quickly-ish 🤔.

After that, showers all round & read for a while for me. I expect the girls will be up nice and late since it's holidays & they have nowhere to be tomorrow - I'll be in bed nice and early ish still!

waiting for husband to come home from work to go to bed. I have worked out and showered. Currently snuggled in bed with my kitty boys. When we get up this afternoon will do supermarket trot for a few things needed for Christmas dinner. Will be my first time making apple cake, so fingers crossed. Hope everyone has a lovely day

Im going to have a bath and listen to a podcast in a minute then heading to a relative for a mince pie, coffee and moan about my batshit family that only she will understand.

Then preparing for battle tomorrow to do the big food shop… dear lord, I hate shopping but especially hate shopping at this time of year.

Ooh did an Amazon shop at 3am (perimeno insomnia!) which might be delivered today so that will be fab!

Good morning. Just had a cup of tea brought to me in bed and can hear my DP jabbing the airfryer buttons to heat up croissants. I'll then have to go to the supermarket to get eggs, carrots and coffee which I forgot yesterday, no doubt other things will end up in the trolley too.

I will then have to make a card for my DP's birthday on Christmas Eve.

Currently drinking coffee and eating panatone in bed while DS watches Home Alone and teens sleep.

I have a few small things still to wrap this morning and the dogs to walk.

this afternoon good friends and their kids are coming over to do our annual gingerbread house decorating competition.

We need to think of a Christmas movie all the family will want to watch together tonight. Maybe Christmas Chronicles.

Not been on for a while. Its been so busy that today I'm staying in the house and going nowhere lol Need to clean and hoover bedrooms once ds2 gets out of his pit and I need to do some uni work as I'm 3 weeks behind 🤦‍♀️ Other than that, it will be chilling on the sofa with a movie, showers and baths all round and eating 🙃

Im the only one up as usual. Just about to have some toast with my second cuppa.

We are going out to some birthday drinks for a friend from 4 this afternoon.

Before then it’s a pottering day. I need to change a bed and wash the bedding. Probably DS’s. Do some normal laundry. Wash the lights over the dining room table which are filthy. And sort some presents. They are all just currently in boxes by the sofa and stashed in a few places. I haven’t started wrapping. I think I’ll make a wrapping station in the spare room.

DH will make a late cooked breakfast/brunch to have around lunch time.

Morning all, I need to take the children to buy some gifts. I need to tackle the mountain of ironing and have a tidy. I’ve got a food collection booked later I also plan to squeeze in a swim. I think the children can be on dog walking duty. I have some work to do from home but will leave it until this evening. Chilli for tea I think. Have a good day all!

Good Morning everyone. I had a bit of a lie in this morning and got up around an hour ago. Dh and dd11 are both also awake.

We have our Christmas big Tesco shop being delivered later this morning and there are no unavailable items or substitutions so I’m pleased about that. I need to nip into town this afternoon and buy the last few Christmas presents I need and also go to Asda for all the wine and chocolate we need as presents and for Christmas Day.

I need to do some washing at some point and then tonight it’s spaghetti bolognese for tea and an early night as both me and dh have work tomorrow.

Today is like Christmas Day for me - the last Sunday before Christmas my whole family go to my aunts house as we don’t see her Christmas Day. She does a full Christmas dinner, which I’m so looking forward to as she’s a fantastic cook. We will have turkey and all the trimmings, her homemade stuffing is to die for. Followed by her homemade Yule log and mince pies which are always incredible. We all exchange and open presents around the tree then play board games etc with a glass of wine.

Then we do it all again at my sister’s on Christmas Day! I’m really excited and feel lucky to have 2 lovely family christmases where I don’t have to do much of the work!

Morning @lucysmamand everyone else. I love a pottering morning…. Two DDs are in bed still ds1 watching tv and ds2 playing on his phone. Dh is getting ready to drop the two ds at my mums to do some Xmas baking and have lunch with her while we wrap. We have a football social this afternoon for ds2 bowling and drinks afterwards. I need to wrap, iron and make a list!

I was out last night and although reasonably sensible still gave a woolly head this morning.

Morning all - having a coffee and watching Christmas rubbish then going to Waitrose for the Christmas dinner meat at 11 when it opens. Big Christmas shop coming on Tuesday so hopefully nothing too important missing so I don’t have to tackle the shops again.
DD is under the weather and had requested an Elf movie session this afternoon so will get some bits to make fancy hot chocolate and some popcorn I think.

Just browsing my phone whilst DD is in bed currently she's absolutely exhausted from school and we have no where to be so going to let her catch up.
Need to get my note pad out later and do some lists of anything needed for Christmas don't think there is much though.

Good morning Lucysmam and others. I've been up for ages so have had two coffees and a slice of toast. Two washes have been done and are drying. I have tidied up the kitchen and I've been to Aldi for some bits. I'm now drinking a cuppa before checking I've wrapped everything. I'm meeting a friend this afternoon and we will have a cake and a chat as well as exchange gifts. Then home for pork medallions and veg. Despite thinking at the start of the week last week that I was so far behind , I've now caught up. Have a good day all

We have sickness in the house. Though I am the least sick so it will be a hours dog walk for me, quite fancy the fresh air actually. DH is on the sofa already in man flu mode, and DD (6) is playing with her replacement Tonie box that finally arrived whilst pretending to be pregnant. Most of the day shall follow this suit for her.

Id like to make something nice to eat later, followed by Christmas movies.

thankfully - we are all organised on the Xmas front - except one visit to supermarket early on Tuesday for the ‘last bits’

Morning all. Breakfasted and about to go to my gym class. Need to collect the last 2 gifts from Argos on my way home.
Lunch and a big tidy up this afternoon, last chance as I'm working until 5pm on Christmas eve.

DH and DS are home all week so they will get jobs too but I want the majority done today. They can change beds, do the bathrooms and have a last whizz round before I get home on Wednesday.

Good morning @lucysmam and everyone. I'm still feeling crappy today so I'm not going to do much at all.

I will go downstairs in my pyjamas later on and do a bit of Christmas-stocking-decoration-making, and have lunch, before probably going back to bed for the afternoon.

Mr Dilemma has already put a wash on, bless him. I've just asked him about what we're going to eat tonight... It needs to be something quick and easy because he's picking up chorister grandson after evensong this evening. He says there's nothing easy in the freezer (we have 3 freezers!) and suggested pasta and sauce. I let him know I wasn't going to be making it... and asked him what he would be putting in it... He doesn't feel like making meatballs so it will probably be just bacon and onion in a ready made sauce.

We have swimming booked for tomorrow morning, which I really hope I am well enough to go to as it costs £28 a time and is paid in advance. The packing is just about done... the swimming towels will need to be washed and dried tomorrow so they can be packed and I have 2 pairs of trousers I want to take with me that need turning up. I have some iron on webbing stuff which I am hoping will work on velvet...

Our Asda delivery has just arrived and we’ve managed to find space for it all (just!). The delivery man was dressed as Santa, which made the dogs go mental! He had treats for them though, so they calmed down.

Wrapping pretty much done, and a few last minute bits to get but nothing major, so if it doesn’t happen I’m relaxed about it.

I hope all those who are fighting off germs get well soon.

@TroysMammy - I’ve never thought to put Croissants in the air fryer! What a good idea.

Morning @lucysmam and everyone. I’m still in bed trying to rally myself to get up and start my day. Today is the last day to collect a package from M & S and it’s my OH’s last gift. I’ll buy wrapping paper and tape while there too. I may stretch myself to visit Lidl afterward to get some shopping.

Supposedly OH is going into his office today to arrange some stuff so I may spend the afternoon wrapping his presents while he’s out. I also have a bit of client work to do and the critical parts of the house need to be blitzed. I just want to stay in bed though. 🫣😫

Dinner will likely be leftover soup or perhaps a porchetta we picked up in Aldi yesterday. Have a lovely and easy Sunday, everyone!

I’m still in bed as I’ve been working all week on my feet including yesterday and need to catch up on my rest.

My plan is to wrap all presents whilst watching Christmas films and figuring out any extra bits and pieces to get on Tuesday.

I’m going to make a coffee now in my espresso pot on the hob I have a small espresso machine but I like the pot thing too. I’ll be making bread in the bread machine and dinner won’t be a roast today as everyone is everywhere today. Will do wash bedding and do cleaning

Quiet restful day planned, as expecting a busy few days at work before breaking up for Christmas on Christmas Eve. Popped out early to fuel the car and got stopped by police in one of their drink drive operations. Absolutely brilliant. Had me on my way quickly but I was really reassured that they are doing this.

We are all still tired. But up now. Dog has been walked. All pets fed, cats were furious at the late delivery.

DH is making scrambled eggs and we are waiting on my parents to arrive for a visit!

I woke at 11.30 having coffee then shower.
And spend the day online.

Looking after two grandchildren.
Most likely a sleepover.
Mainly doing running battle with 3 year old
