Christmas films you dont like grinch thread

I keep seeing threads about christmas films to watch, but not seen a thread on chrismas films we dont like.
I`ll start with a few i really cant stand.

Home alone all of them.
The muppets christmas carol.
Scroog.
Elf.
Christmas with the kranks.
Dec the halls.
Jack frost.
There is more im sure.

Polar Express really creeps me out.

And Love Actually is the worst film ever - sexist, misogynistic, sizeist, creepy..

Never took to Miracle on 34th street, I remember my younger self thinking 'I'm going to enjoy this' and I didn't .

Hook, rewatched it recently and didn't find it gripping, if you'll excuse the pun

I watched The Holiday for the first time today. It was boring. I fell asleep and woke up confused as to how Jude Law suddenly had two children.

Agreed! Uncanny Valley plus frigging Aerosmith.

Tom Hanks, I love you but this one is bloody awful (except for the Hot Chocolate musical number)

Love Actually is frigging awful.

Muppets Christmas Carol is actually among the best Christmas films ever though

Agree Polar Express is awful and very creepy. Gives off North Korea vibes , never watching that again!

I honestly don't like any of them except " A Child's Christmas in Wales" from the 80's, ( Dylan Thomas).

It was filmed where my gran grew up, and I find it lovely to look back before Christmas became what it is today.

Agree Polar Express is just plain creepy.

I can't stand 'Elf' - makes me want to throw something at the telly.

Don't understand people's love for Home Alone or The Santa Clause - boring.

Any of the absolute dross that they keep putting on channel 5 for the month of December every year!

I detest the Home Alone films, and can’t bear the formulaic Xmas romcoms that get rolled out every year.

I love Polar Exress though.

I couldn't agree more. I watched it for the first time this year and couldn't believe how shit it was - for all the reasons you say and more.

The snow Sister is quite good and Klaus is the best Christmas film ever! (I’m 67, really should have grown up a bit)!
