...what sort of things did you wear back in your teens or early twenties? Or to put it another way, were you particularly fashion conscious?

I wore ripped jumpers and stretchy trousers. As in, the jumpers were ripped from gardening and similar activities. I was not fashion conscious or stylish in anyway. The most you could say for my clothes was they were generally clean.

@fatcat2007 Thanks for the first reply. Were you a country girl?

Not a chance would I have been seen dead in a Dry Robe in my teens. Or anything remotely sensible or waterproof/ suitable for bad weather! It was all heels, long boots, short skirts and skimpy tops. If I had to wear a coat, it was either a leather jacket or a little fluffy one. These days I live in leggings, jumpers and trainers and give zero fucks about putting on a dry robe and head torch to walk the dog. Much to the disgust of DS!

I wore normal clothes. Same as now. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I wear a swim robe (it’s actually not a dry robe) because I wild swim more days than not. Was swimming in a quarry lake in the rain this afternoon. It’s warm and practical for outdoor wear and doesn’t stink like dh’s manky coat.
