Not sure I’ll get time for a bath it’s just a nice warm shower and I have some lovely scented shower gel and some lavender cream

Hot water bottle x 1000 also I bought a floor length fleeced dressing gown- it’s ugly as hell but so cosy

NotFragileLikeAFlowerFragileLikeABomb · 20/12/2025 17:33

And a candle!

PearlTeapot · 20/12/2025 17:34

Shower with my ‘nice’ bits, fresh pjs, coffee and a book on my space in the sofa with my electric blanket and a candle. Bliss.

Also I don’t know why but my most comforting show is “72 most dangerous animals” - interesting but with a reassuringly predictable format 😂

Great thread idea

Nomorebullshitnotavailable · 20/12/2025 17:36

Fluffy socks, cosy and clean pjs, heavy blanket, favourite snacks, feel good film and an old favourite book in (a clean) bed.

Thejugglestruggle · 20/12/2025 17:37

Candles, low, soft lighting, fluffy socks and slippers, hot drink, big sofa cushions, new Joules dressing gown...heaven!

Myoldbear · 20/12/2025 17:37

Old fashioned Christmas scene jigsaw.

Electric heat mat is a game changer for me! Plug it in half hour before going to bed - bliss! 😍 Nothing beats getting into bed with a heated area where you lie! My favourite position to leave the mat is lower back, then (when I’m brushing my teeth) move it up to upper back/ shoulder area so when you get in the whole back area is lovely and toasty (my mat is too small to do the whole back area but I believe they come in different sizes). Feet area is also nice. Will pop a link

Oh and a hot mug of Ovaltine!

If you haven’t seen it or haven’t seen it in a while, Poldark on BBC iPlayer (with Aiden Turner) is good. I love it even more in cold weather when you want to feel cosy (even the beginning sequence with the sea, galloping rider and roaring fire)
