Boring, but necessary jobs

I've just decluttered the fridge of jars.
An embarrassing number of almost empty ones, thanks DH and teens 🙄
My fridge is now ready for the big shop.

We've got family (or "house guests" in MN speak 🤭) coming to stay next week, so I've done a divide and conquer task list for us all
My main one was
• Kitchen and food shop, so I'm almost done - cheers! 🥂

What other boring, but necessary jobs have you completed/yet to complete?

Cleaning the oven. I HATE doing it, but I can’t let ‘house guests’ see the current state of it. So I’m motivated by shame which always helps 😂

I have a tip for you!
Don't invite anyone over... ever!
Buy an airfryer and use that for everything!
Don't even touch the main oven, and hang a pretty tea towel over it and tell everyone "it doesn't work"😉

Yep the oven is my most hated chore. I'm contemplating just getting a new oven grill rather than cleaning the existing grill. Fridge also needs cleaning.
