Over the counter eye drop recommendations would be amazing right now!

Hi wise ones,
My left eye has been feeling a bit sore since yesterday, that feeling of there being a bit of glass/grit in there (had this before, nothing in my eye just that uncomfortable feeling)
I have 499 things to do this weekend & hoping it’ll pass with the help of some over the counter eye drops. Anyone had this & had relief from eye drops before? I’ve rinsed with warm (boiled & cooled) water a few times. Any suggestions very welcome 👀

I use Hycosan Intensive for dry eye syndrome. They do a range. Excellent. Unlike others you can keep using for up to 6 months rather than 4 weeks due to the way its dispensed. Expensive but worth it.

I use Clinitas Soothe (recently rebranded as Clinitas Multi 0.4% so you might see it on the shelf in either incarnation)

Brolene - OTC in a pharmacy. They are medicated so will damp down any minor infection. I use them to stop conjunctivitis taking hold (and if it is too late I have Golden Eye ointment which is also OTC and works very well.)

Thanks both :)
actually think it might be a stye 😭 as my eye lid is looking quite purple suddenly.

Go to a pharmacy, they can give you ointment/drops for a stye.

For a potential stye I second Brolene, it was recommended to me by a consultant as a first line defence. For just lubrication I second Hycosan Intensive.
