My child has an android now and I have an android too. I use family link

If my child has an apple phone and I have an android, can I still 'control' her phone? And how?

We had this with my teen,and I had to physically go into their phone with a separate PIN to fix the parental settings as I wanted. We're both on android now, so Family Link works nicely.

Ah ok so has to be the same kind of phones

I did manage to get their iPhone appearing on Family link, but couldn't control the settings in the same way as with android. It just showed really basic usage info.
