I GUARANTEE there hasn’t been a thread about Scott from Neighbours kids’ school fees!

Yes, I went to see his Amazing Midlife Crisis tour in 2019 and he was going on about school fees then.

Pedallleur · 20/12/2025 08:30

Is it the school fees he issue with or the vat? VAT is 20% but if the school had raised it's fees by 10% PA he would still be paying more. First world problem for him and there are a couple of solutions. If there is a different Gov at the next election do we think they will make vat removal a manifesto promise?
Acc to the internet Jason has 2 homes in the UK, Notting Hill and Oxfordshire plus something in Australia. That vat must mean his heating will be turned right down

He did agree somewhat reluctantly later in the interview that paying a lot of tax means you’re earning a lot of money so you shouldn’t complain. But his heart wasn’t in it!

It wasn’t the best.
I’ve really enjoyed the podcast in general but recently I feel the no guest episodes have missed the mark sometimes. Rob tries to bring him back but Josh often talks about things that are quite specific to being a touring comedian. I appreciate it’s harder if they haven’t been parenting.
I found it frustrating (embarrassing for them) that they clearly didn’t know that Joe Thomas’s wife is also an actress. They joke about not doing research but surely a 5 min Wikipedia read before interviewing is essential.
