I’ve bought a non-frozen chicken which I’ll roast for dinner in the afternoon on Christmas Day. Use by date is 25th December. Would you put it in the freezer or keep it in the fridge? I’m not keen on freezing meat because I worry about defrosting time, but I don’t want to cut it fine with the use-by date.
