Asda recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations of anything that is particularly nice from Asda?
I moved from Asda to Sainsbury’s deliveries earlier in the year due to the Asda app being so difficult to use and then so many substitutions/missing items. However, I’d got £20 saved in my Christmas saver that I don’t want to waste. I have my Sainsbury’s Christmas order booked for Tues but also got an Asda order booked for Monday to use this voucher. I could just do a small shop of general items (and delete them from my Sainsbury’s order) but wondered if there is anything that anyone would particularly recommend from Asda?

If you've got room in the freezer, they do a reasonable Black Forest Gateau.....

Chicken tikka pakora
Dundee roll
Lawsons skinless sausages.
Depending where you are in the country obviously.👍

You don't necessarily need to get anything special or Christmassy.
We all know that supermarkets play a game where they rotate prices on branded goods. I use a comparison website to track the best price on coffee and shamelessly switch supermarkets to who ever has the best deal at the moment.

Think of some branded goods that you like, that have a long shelf-life, that are cheap at Asda at the moment and stock up on that!

Thank you @senua Yes, I’m actually currently doing that. I’ve got my Sainsbury’s and Asda orders open on 2 different devices and selecting the cheapest of each product.

I just thought I’d check if there was anything anyone particularly recommended from Asda as this is a ‘one-off’ shop at Asda.

It's probably the best way to do it because, after extolling the idea of a comparison site, I do find that the one I use is a bit suspect! For example, I was trying to compare a 24-pack of Pepsi the other day. The site listed cherry, lime, caffeine-free etc, etc, etc ... but not the basic, original Pepsi!
I've also just checked Jolly Hog sausages, which I bought yesterday at Asda at what I thought was a good price and, again, it's not listed. They have various different JH listed at about £3.80 but not the ones that I bought - British, with rubbed sage - at £2.77.
