Eye styes since pregnancy

My toddler is 16 months! And ever since I got pregnant, I get awful styes every few weeks. In both eyes, in different parts, and both upper and lower lids. It's not just one localized infected pore. Anyone else? Not only is it depressing I can't wear any make up, but I spend 5-6 days a month looking awful and infectious, like I have pink eye.

I do use warm compresses regularly, it helps a little bit.

do you have a steam room anywhere near you? or one of those facial steamers? both are great for opening up styes. Sorry, I have no advise on stopping them in the first place.

I had this OP, kept getting styes and eventually I realised it was because of changing nappies. Even though I was super careful.

Game changer for me was keeping a bottle of hand sanitiser in the nappy caddy and using it after every single change. (Or even better, wash your hands after every nappy change). It’s likely to be transfer of bacteria from your hands to your eye(s).

I'd never had a stye before my daughter was born, and haven’t had one since I started using hand sanitiser after every change.
