Anyone still awake who could give me some ideas on something light to watch.

Something cookery based is always good for falling asleep to. Bake off, Great British Menu, Nigella etc. Or something period like Pride and Prejudice?

Something I've watched a million times on low always works for me- friends? Motherland?

What are you into? If it's just something you want to conk out to then any Christmas film would do the job for me 😂

I had a look through YouTube and put on a meditation video to listen to. Ended up falling asleep straight away before 1am and I've just woken up. Couldn't tell you the last time I slept for eight hours. Think I will try the video again tonight lol. Thanks for the suggestions.

Audio books do it for me - I use the 'sleep' option which stops it after however many minutes, and just hit repeat if I'm still awake when it stops.

BBC Sounds has a vast collection of audio books for free.

@HeadyLamarr didn't think about audio books, I associate them with cleaning lol. Also I didn't know about the sleep option, thank you will add to my list for when I can't sleep.

When I really can't sleep I look for a light/fluffy film that's enough to hold my interest but not so good that I'll be gripped and get annoyed if I miss the end. That's romcoms for me, the 90s/00s ones with Jennifer Aniston or SJP or Reese Witherspoon, those types of thing.

Starting to think I've got a bug or my body is run down or something. Dropped back off to sleep around 10am and just woke up that's another three hours of sleep. Going to have a shower see if that helps me feel better. @giveyourselfapresent think I will look for one of those films to watch this afternoon, thanks.

My sleep pattern is proper fucked up.
Im in bed by 10pm still lay blinking at 3am.

Last night I thought screw this at 11pm I started watching, rush hour 1 then ended up watching them all on westream.
Tonight I'm watching the hit man, then the rabbit proof fence, history of violence, long kiss good night and end it with the 80s care bears movie.
I will start at 9am tonight, and hopefully fall to sleep.
