I have my work Christmas party today.

It is lunch in a really nice restaurant during working hours. I'd guess 3 hours tops. Plus an hours drive each way

Then done for the day.

I'm not sure 21 year old me would be happy about it, but 37 year old me is absolutely delighted!!

Sounds lovely! We did afternoon tea last year which was really lovely and 50 year old me appreciated it!

@TheNightingalesStarling I have to drive, but not drinking right now anyway so it doesn't matter. Even when I was a glass of wine in the afternoon always made me sleepy when it wore off.
