Where is my earring?

Please wise MNers help me locate my missing earring?

I definitely had it in yesterday, noticed today that one was missing. I have had a shower but didn’t wash hair.

its not in the bed or inside my PJ top
its not in the bath or on bedroom or bathroom floor

where else shall I look? It has a hinge so can be pulled out quite easily without me noticing

Do you have curly hair? Is it tangled in that? Otherwise have you worn a scarf that could've pulled it out (so the hall)?

Mine was tangled in my jumper.

Do you wear a shower cap? Could it be in there?

I found an earring in the turn up of my trousers once.

Mine was in the door frame of my car. I had taken my scarf off as I got in.

On the floor by the bottom of the washing basket

No shower cap
not in hair
Not in hallway or in my scarf/coat hood
not in dressing gown however that has been through the wash today, checked washer- no sign

Washing machine filter - it’s quite small so could’ve slipped down there?
