Christmas gift HELP needed

I need to find something to give a relative, and I'm really stuck on ideas.
Here's their brief:
65 year old single male. No children. Lives alone in rented accommodation. Has arthritis and diverticulitis. Dyslexic and colour-blind.
Has been very unwell this year.
Loves gadgets. Until recently was liking foodie things. Is trying to lose weight so doesn't want clothes.

I've bought a number of small items to around £20 and can spend up to another £20

Any suggestions welcome!

Extendable backscratcher shaped like a claw.

Foot massager? A fancy heated blanket?

Heated blanket might be good - apparently his flat is very cold.
Love the idea of the backscratcher but it's the sort of thing he'd probably manage to break within about 30 minutes of owning! :)
