100ml rule - airports

I'm travelling via T2, Manchester. Has anyone very recently been through and can tell me about the 100ml liquids rule. Is it still strictly implemented as I know the airport is in the process of fitting new scanners. Thanks.

They’ve been there a while….think we’ve been away 3 times from Manchester since they got the new scanners….just don’t have to put everything in a clear bag anymore ….it’s all on the website 🤷‍♀️

If you are flying back again check the other airport too. We got caught out because Bristol airport now has the new scanners, but the airport in France that we flew back from a week later didn't, which meant I had to have security check through all my luggage.

Does Bristol allow the 2l now? Or just 100ml not in a bag,

Probably easier to read the very clear info on their website than start a thread on MN

the liquid rule remains up to 10x 100ml in carry on luggage. just no clear plastic bag needed anymore at many airports.

It was still Max 100ml but you didn’t have to separate it when I last flew

Yes, it's up to 2 litres and you can have it in your luggage

We flew to Nice in September and unfortunately they still operate on the old rules.
