What a waste of money for Rain

We’re off on holiday somewhere expensive (first holiday this year as a family ) and it should have been amazing weather but it’s meant to rain there most of the time - I’m so disappointed about they money spent more than anything , how do I get myself out of this headspace to make it an amazing experience for myself and family ?

Oh dear, that’s disappointing. Where are you going? Dh and I are just back from the Caribbean, the forecast looked like there would be rain every day, it probably rained for 3 days out of the 10, one of those times was overnight and the 2 days we saw rain it was literally a 10 minute downpour that disappeared as quickly as it came. If there is any chance of rain the forecast will show rain. Fingers crossed it’s a similar situation for you.
On the other hand my friends were just in Thailand and said it literally rained where they were pretty much daily for 3 weeks, it was the rainy season and they expected rain but not as much as they got.

Where is it?

I find if it’s hot and humid the weather forecasts can say it will be wet and stormy but… usually it isn’t.

Enjoy the warmth and different surroundings.

If there's outdoor swimming, that's lovely in warm rain. Plus the pool tends to be quiet as people avoid it for some odd reason: you're in it to to get wet anyway!

Yes try not to worry. We went to Mexico in October once, and every day on the iPhone weather app said rain. It literally rained one afternoon, for around 30 minutes!
