My sister lives with a partner who has shown some serious boundary issues in the past - basically, he is controlling and litigious, and obsessed with collecting evidence. When she threatened to leave him once before he started recording their conversations and downloaded her WhatsApp and other social media to his own PC :( she is still with him but that is another story and I actually think she might finally be preparing to ditch him.
Recently every time I’ve opened mine and her WhatsApp chats, it has appeared like she’s recording a voice message to send to me: the little microphone button appears under her side of the conversation, kind of pulsing/fading in and out. That struck me as fairly weird. Does anyone have an explanation for this??
