I’ve not seen the annual ‘recommend me a Christmas album’ so I thought I’d start one.

Jamie Callum ‘ Pianoman at Christmas’ - lovely songs, quite mellow,

John Denver - Rocky Mountain Christmas - recommended on a similar past thread. Lovely singing and a mixture of usual and not so common songs

Sarah Maclaughlin - Wintersong - just a lovely Christmas record

You don’t really hear much about Leona Lewis nowadays. Every so often she pops up on something.

A Charlie Brown Christmas by the Vince Guaraldi Trio

Jamie Cullum's is my favourite. How does he fly makes me cry. Beautiful.

Kate Rusby has some lovely folky Christmas albums. The first two are the best IMO - Sweet Bells and While Mortals Sleep.

Missed out on tickets, although I did get a question read out on his Radio 2 show a few months back.

Ella Fitzgerald Swinging Christmas has all the Christmas standards sung beautifully, Diana Krall Christmas Songs.

Jamie Cullen said on his radio 2 show this week, that if you’re only to buy one Christmas record, then get Ella Fitzgerald record, and started the song with her also.
