Please recommend some unperfumed pads or panty liners

I'm in my early 50s and now prefer to only use tampons on very heavy days but for light days I'm having difficulty finding pads or panty liners that aren't perfumed. I've used the Aldi Lunex night ones (blue packet) in the past which I think were unperfumed but I couldn't find them last time I needed some so I bought the Aldi ones in the purple packet and realised they are perfumed (didn't read the packet carefully enough) and I guess the blue ones probably are now too. Can anyone recommend some brands that definitely aren't perfumed please and ideally not too expensive? Thanks.

I bought dd a variety of non perfumed ones when she first started using them, her favourite were Tesco free spirit ultra towels with wings long (41p for 12).The cheapest I bought and the only ones shes asked me to buy ever since.

Breathmiller · 10/12/2025 17:01

Yip, Tesco Free Spirit here too. Unfortunately my local Tesco has stopped doing the longer Panty Liners so I need to stock up when I go to one further away.

My flow is so heavy I need maternity pads and the Lil-lets ones aren't perfumed. I imagine there period pads would also be perfume free but I'm not sure.

We all need to let these bastards know we are not happy with cheaply scented pads !!

bilbodog · 10/12/2025 17:12

I use tena lights which are unscented

Marmite27 · 10/12/2025 17:14

Bodyform do unscented, which is what I use. I have the regular, long and night (all with wings).

Eldest DC has Lillets teen pads, as the bodyform ones are too wide. They’re also unscented and come in regular, long and night. We only have the regular and night here. Again, both with wings.

everythingswrong1971 · 10/12/2025 17:15

Asda own brand are also unscented and about 50p a pack

it’s crazy that apart from the super expensive organic ones, only a few supermarkets do unscented

No woman I’ve met has ever mentioned preferring scented sanitary products

PainterInPeril · 11/12/2025 16:50

Sainsbury's Comfort range.

Sunseed · 11/12/2025 16:54

Bodyform

RollyPollyBatFace · 11/12/2025 16:56

I always buy natracare organic ones

gogomomo2 · 11/12/2025 17:00

Lidl has unscented ones, also not noticed scent on their incontinence pad, I prefer them to period pads as more comfortable somehow

boulevardofbrokendreamss · 11/12/2025 19:35

Bodyform

SweetHydrangea · 11/12/2025 22:12

I use Asdas own. Really cheap as well. Been using them for years and you can get all the different absorbency’s.

Ariela · 11/12/2025 22:14

Try washable ones, I used cotton Lunapads

Passthecake30 · 11/12/2025 22:15

Tescos own panty liners, less plasticky than Asdas.

Bigearringsbigsmile · 11/12/2025 22:15

Always infinity. You can only buy them in boots but they are really comfortable and reliable

MustTryHarderAndHarder · 11/12/2025 22:16

Tesco own were when I used to use them.

BicesterBiscuits · 11/12/2025 22:16

Tena liners.

Alexadidzammomarryjackie · 11/12/2025 22:18

I use Carefree unscented. The best I've used were from a supermarket in Chinatown when I got caught short.

BashfulClam · 11/12/2025 22:20

Bodyform, their new ultimate pads are fantastic.

WhoWouldBeAWoman · 11/12/2025 22:20

Morrison's liners are scent free. I don't use pads so can't comment on their own pads.

I find myself standing in the shop smelling the packets to check for perfume. I must look crazy! But the packaging can be confusing! Same with b toilet roll with added perfume. Hate it.

ExcitingRicotta · 11/12/2025 22:23

The Lillets ones are the best I’ve found - closest to cotton feeling, not too thin, not too thick, no scent. Just right! These ones:

Always Sensitive. Sainsbury's do all the sizes, most supermarkets do some.

I can't stand scented pads, who on earth thought we wanted them?

Jewelanemone · 11/12/2025 22:32

Flo - I buy them on Amazon and they have the added benefit of being plastic-free (made from bamboo).

They do all different sizes.
