Hair product for boys

Hi,

My nine year old has very thick hair and he doesn’t like it too short. I was thinking of using some hair wax/ hair gel to style it a little bit. Something child friendly, not sticky or greasy looking, will last till the end of the school day.

Also we don’t wash his hair every day, so is that just a bad idea?

What are others doing, please?

I have really short hair and got fed up of the grease build.up that wax gave my hair. I now use something similar to this which is much better and brushes out easily.

Hair Styling Powder

Invisible grit, actual lift. Our hair powder for men gives grit, volume, and matte hold, so your look stays light, textured, and always in charge.

I bought Tribal Chimp powder for DS2. It makes his messy hair look intentional rather than accidental 🤣

My son swears by Slick Gorilla. He has sensory issues (ASD) and finds wax or gel too sticky. Slick Gorilla is a powder, reminds me of dry shampoo and adds volume/texture
