Until today I was part of a group which was very important to me. We’re constantly being told we have to work as a team on joint projects.
The problem is that everyone has very different interests, strengths, and priorities. we only want to work on our own projects. If we have to invest time and energy into projects we don’t care about, nothing gets done; genuinely.
It also takes ages to make decisions, It’s clear a group dynamic isn’t suitable.
On top of that, all of our personal ideas tend to get sidelined. Sometimes management come in and make the ultimate decision.
Others feel the same, and a few people have already left because of it.
