Do Next include furniture in their Boxing Day sale?

Just that really. I have spotted some dining furniture I want to get but it’s not urgent for Christmas. I don’t want to buy it now and then it’s reduced significantly in a couple of weeks.

Yes, they usually do.

Thanks @TheFairyCaravan I’ll maybe hold off then although I’ll be disappointed if it sells out or is discontinued which is why I’m trying to weigh up the wait

Yes, but the chances are that unless you get a very early VIP slot, you won't get them.

Another option is to check out your local stores, and see if they have the right amount in store. They'll reduce the display furniture that's not carrying into the new season, or is no longer needed for display, by 50%. That will probably happen next week, as they need it all removed before the sale starts and they get the new season display furniture.

My recommendation is to buy now, and then keep your eyes on the sale. You should be within the returns period if you get them on sale.

The VIP slots will probably go out around 17th/18th, once they are out you could ask on here for someone with a slot to look if it's in the sale, the sale normally goes live about 3 or 4 days after the slots go out so there is a short space of time to check availability.

Oh thank you both @anon2022anon and @Sesma thats very helpful as I’m not a huge Next shopper (and if I do it tends to be in store) so good to know. Maybe I’ll look to buy next week then and then have the 14 days to return in case!

If it's large furniture that's like a big van delivery they do charge for returns, I think it's about £30 for collection.
